The rules behind the record.
A record is only useful when readers know what entered it, when the price was captured, and what can never be edited away.
Short version
An official release must be public before the event, include a price and stake, and pass every active model, price, context and freshness gate. Reconstructed rows never count as live proof and are reported separately.
What counts as an official release
The public board is the release point. A position counts as live only when the board displays it before the event with its selection, sportsbook price, playable-through price, grade, stake, release time and model version. A model candidate, shadow observation, watch-list item, draft, private message or after-the-fact reconstruction is not an official release.
Live and reconstructed records stay separate
Live release means the position was captured and published before the event. Reconstructed means the row was rebuilt later from internal records. Reconstructed history remains available as context, but its record, units and ROI are displayed apart from live performance. The combined figure is a reference total, not a substitute for the live-only record.
How prices and CLV are recorded
The release price is immutable. For new live positions, the system attempts one near-start capture from the same event, outcome and sportsbook. Closing-line value is the difference on a continuous American-odds cost scale: taking -110 before a -120 close is +10 cents, as is taking +110 before a +100 close. A positive value means the release beat the close. If the exact market disappears or a same-book price cannot be matched, the close stays unavailable rather than being estimated.
How results settle
Wins and losses use the sportsbook's normal market rules at the captured release price. A push returns the stake and contributes zero net units. A void is excluded from risk and return calculations. ROI equals net units divided by units risked; win percentage is shown only with the sample size and never presented as profitability.
Corrections policy
Display, copy and data-mapping errors are corrected when verified. The page's updated date changes, and material result changes are explained next to the affected record. A losing position is never deleted, a release price is never improved after the fact, and a reconstructed row is never relabelled as live. Duplicate or synthetic delivery-test rows are excluded because they were never real releases.
Model changes
Every settled row retains its model version. A new version does not inherit the old version's claims: results are breakable by sport, market, grade, price band and version so improvements and regressions can be attributed to the system that produced them.
